NOT A SINGLE TREE IS CUT DOWN TO MAKE OUR CORK MATS & BLOCKS.
Cork is harvested by stripping the bark of a tree by hand every 9 years. Throughout the production process, there is zero waste as the residue is either returned to production or is recycled into other cork products. It can even be used to make fuel! Safe to say, harvesting cork is one of the most sustainable business practices on the planet.
